Addressing the mental health impact of climate change on at-risk populations

The climate change disproportionately affects the mental health of vulnerable populations. A new global agenda, based on input from over 960 people across 90 countries, outlines research priorities and actions to better understand these mental health impacts. Extreme weather events lead to increased stress, anxiety, PTSD, and depression, especially in communities lacking resources to adapt. The initiative calls for inclusive research approaches and integrated mental health policies to protect vulnerable populations.

Today I invite you to take a closer look at the article of the Imperial College, discussing this valuable initiative.
